Bauer Motor sports was founded by Matt Bauer in Jan 2001. As a child, Matt spent his days watching his father and grandfather fix cars and boats. It was during this time that Matt learned the value of every car and boat, and learned how the right care and knowledge could extend the life and performance of any car and boat. When Matt graduated high school he decided to do his part and join the US Coast Guard, where he found his love and passion for boats. After going to Engineering school and mercury marine school it enhance his deep knowledge of marine engines. Although Matt was learning the most advanced techniques in marine repair, he never forgot the lessons he learned from his grandfather all those years ago. His grandfather used to repair and restore boats for friends and neighbors; asking for little compensation in return. Matt never forgot the gratitude of those his grandfather helped. He never forgot the warm feeling he felt every time his grandfather would deliver a boat to someone who couldn't afford a new one. Matt was determined to honor his grandfather by opening a business that would truly offer value to the community. He promised himself to always provide value and outstanding service, regardless of how large his business grew.

Matt opened Bauer Motor Sports in 2001 in a small building on the outskirts of Moreno Valley. Word of outstanding service quickly spread throughout the region. Scott Williams became a part of the team in 2003.  Matt and Scott have been friends since high school.  Together they have build Bauer Motor Sports into a thriving business with exceptional work at a price you can afford.  Today we are looking into the future and opening a new 10,000 sqft. Facility in Corona off the 91 freeway. We hope to be moving in September 2010.
